Where it all started
DigitalSuits was founded in 2016, but our story goes back to the time when Artem Semenko and Yurii Maslov – today the CEO and CTO of DigitalSuits – were students who graduated from Lumière University in Lyon, France, and were about to start their tech careers.
Artem started as a project manager at several software development companies, working with clients worldwide and gaining in-depth experience in software delivery processes.
Yurii began as a software engineer at a Ukrainian software development company, then moved to France to continue his career as a lead engineer at a travel startup. After gaining solid experience, he joined a major French fintech startup, delivering high-quality products to European markets.
Shortly afterwards, they discovered that they shared the same idea of creating their own business.
"We had a feeling that as entrepreneurs, we could accomplish more tasks and challenges. That was a tipping point. We decided to face the music and to take the risk," recalls Yurii Maslov.
"We quickly came up with an idea for the company name and started looking for projects on a popular freelance platform. In the next two months, we signed two contracts and started working on them in our free time. It was a tough period as we worked non-stop seven days a week without breaking for weekends and holidays," shares Artem Semenko.
From startup to success
In 2016, Artem and Yurii launch a startup, providing software development services to their first clients.
In 2018, DigitalSuits is actively growing, building processes within the team and expanding into new markets.
In 2023, the company has over 50 specialists from different countries, facing increasingly complex business challenges, learning lessons, and improving their skills to move forward.
In 2024, DigitalSuits reaches 100 successfully launched development projects and continues to attract more clients.
In 2025, our team grows to 60 specialists and keeps addressing new customer challenges.
Our approach today is to work on every task with great attention and offer solutions that meet clients' needs. And the best part is that we see how our clients get exactly what they expect and notice real improvements in conversions and business productivity.
DigitalSuits' solutions bring real value
We built a Shopify Plus store for a humidifier brand to help them run D2C and B2B processes, speeding up workflows and getting higher conversions.
We helped our client - a Switzerland footwear brand - redesign their store, implementing UX-first UX and optimizing performance.
We rebuilt the outdated Shopify app for the Australian fintech brand, ensuring data migration and optimizing the app in line with the Shopify standards.
Our team created custom features and designs for a women underwear brand, improving store appearance and boosting conversions.
